Come to a house with girls, that's what you get. The only one that ever bothers Mesa is Hayden, who is continually hugging her and saying,"You're my best friend in the whole world." And then tries to ride her like a pony.
well, we don't actually breed german shepherds. this was an oops on the part of my hubby! or what happens when you let two dogs out of your sight for a milisecond while one is in heat!!!
we totally do the cesar milan thing. he is the best for training advice. we also had gunnar trained, and soon to be maya, with a guy who does k9 police dog training. don't get excited, they are in NO WAY that obedient, but gunnar is really good with the kids. he knows that we will kick his butt if he does anything wrong. and maya, well she needs some work. but she is good with the kids aside from knocking them over with her huge tail. not much weh can do about that.
have fun!!! once you accept the fact that the dog is part of the family and there to stay it gets better. and once the kids get older and can really help take care of them it is WAY better! 10yr olds really are good at that.
