Master bath is gettin a facelift!

We moved in with the intention of changing the master bath into a master gigantic shower! I've seen it done by my in-laws out in Derby Acres and thought, "what the heck... we could TOTALLY do that!"

Well after the kids bath, we decided to pay someone else to do it and I'm SO glad we did. It's not done, but here's the progress so far. Should set tonight and grout will come in the morning.

Now for your opinions. I wanted this sea blue look, but now that the shower looks awesome, I kind of don't want anything to distract from it so I'm back to brown again. What color for the cabinets? Black just looks SO good, but I don't know. Cream? Let me know.

I think if you are going dark on the walls then the cabinets should be light. Cream in good.

I didn't even know there was a window in there! It got covered up!

I adore black cabinets and I think the sea blue would be pretty and even compliment the shower. It looks really good, I especially love the bottom of the shower, those are my favorite tiles, are they called subway tiles? So, where does that window face? I've never seen a window like that in a shower.

I LOVE the window!! Awesome tile picks, you will have to give us a grand tour tomorrow... er, today (it's late I know). I kinda like your idea of black cabinets--as long as the counters are light. What are you doing for mirrors? Black framed mirrors would look great with black cabinets... :)

I can't wait until we redo our master bath. I am going to do shabby/distressed black cabinets. I don't want to replace ours because I don't want to spend the money. I can't wait to get rid of the fake marble/formica inlay sinks/counters...totally 80's! Your bathroom looks awesome, can't wait to see the final pictures.
