Weekend Guests

Jordan & Heidi took MacKenzie for 3 days!!! It was WONDERFUL! I can't express how fun that is for the kids to get special one on one time with their Auntie and Uncle AND I get time with the ones at home. It's a win, win. MacKenzie got to be an only child, stay up past her bed time, go shopping and just be spoiled. Kennedy (in MacKenzie's absence) got to stay up past her bed time, go shopping and spend time with just me. I love my kids! I love Jordan & Heidi for helping me understand them individually! I feel blessed.

So here's how it went. I met Jordan half way between our homes on Wednesday to drop off MacKenzie. Then he, Heidi and MacKenzie came back ALL the way to our house Saturday morning. Also they brought tons of AWESOME clothes finds for each of the kids and even a present for me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Here's a few pics. *Note the CUTE sailor dresses. The picture isn't fantastic, but the girls are SO cute in them.

Isn't it funny how having one child gone totally changes the dynamics of things? When I think back on having babies, I always say, "What's one more?" and you get used to it. Then when you take one away, I think, "Man, this is a lot different!" I'm glad you can enjoy them before THEY have kids :)

Oh, and I think that Kennedy and Brendan should get together and open a pet shop. A pet shop that sells rhinos and hippos and elephants, of course...

It really doesn't seem like that long ago when we were sitting in Bio class and those stupid boys behind us wouldn't shut their mouths. You told them to be quite and he said the Professor was his uncle, lol. What little punks, but that was so funny. I gave you major props for telling them to shut it. Point is, now you're married with 3 kids. Where does the time go? Btw, love the pics, very cute! I hope you're keeping the snake ;)
