Help clever friends!!!

We need a Girls Camp theme. The over all scripture theme is, "Be strong and of a good courage", but we need a camp theme too.

Our girls can be described through text and facebook. I just thought of "Camp Text". What do you think? The letters would stand for something like: Testimony E? X? T? Any ideas? I'm open to everything. I want a super clever, yet meaningful. You know because I always need to combine funny with the Spirit;)

MacKenzie's twin

Doesn't this girl look like MacKenzie?! They even have the same big booty!

Note their similar love of accessories. One has a necklace and one a purse/backpack.

A mumu for MacKenzie

Poor MacKenzie has a big booty and tummy. She doesn't fit into many pants with buttons unless they're plus size. For the summer what's cuter than sundresses? And since I got a new sewing machine for Mother's Day I decided to test out my sewing skills that have been hibernating for a good 15 years. Not too bad and she LOVES it!

I like the call it "The Child's Mumu".

Kennedy found this reindeer flannel and needed it. The original idea was jammie pants, but she wanted it as a blanket.

My Visalia dr. came through for me!

For some reason after my long wait to see the dr., the idea that he casually said I "had" to have a D&C just didn't set well. I'm pretty sure the Lord set our bodies up a little better than, "oh you miscarried at 7 weeks we HAVE to do surgery or you'll die!" If that were the case Adam and Eve would've had some serious problems. Now I'm not downing the medical field, I know I love my epidurals, but I am saying there are some scissor happy dr.s out there. I think mine is one of them.

So I decided to get a second opinion on this D&C business. I called my Visalia dr to see what they thought and after a huge hassle (from the Victorville end) Visalia got my lab results for me. And I was just informed there is NO REASON for me to have a D&C at all! Not only that, but my levels are so low I'm not even reading pregnant any more. Yes.

The moral: If you live in Visalia go to Dr. Wiseman for OB stuff. He's amazing and so is his full time nurse! If you live in Victorville, do NOT go to Dr. Moneke.

I'm sure everyone else watches their children much better than I do.

But we like to train our kids to be self reliant. Grayson can get his own drinks and doesn't even dirty a cup.

Look at the happiness on this face.

Justin and I have wanted to get a new fence since we moved in. Well almost 2 years later and we've got 2 segments in!

It's my new favorite song

I can't believe this isn't on the radio so much, or is it? It's not even a new song, but I can't get it out of my head. And after REFUSING to watch another ridiculous season of American Idol (full of people I don't want to listen to on the radio) I began recording watching Dancing With the Stars instead. I really like it! I'm surprised how much fun it is to watch. And so when I saw this video the planets were all aligned just right.

It's gone

Finally saw the doctor today no baby left and there is a D&C in the works. How do I feel about all this? Totally nervous about the operation part, but other than that I'm fine.

Mom and Manuel to the rescue!

This is my mom and Manuel. Can you believe they drove 4 hours, one way, to help me watch after my kids and house this weekend?! 9 loads of laundry, 3 tornado stricken bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 T-ball game, the kitchen (dishes AND floor) and the best part... they went to Costco, Target and Win Co with Grayson to restock my shelves! I can't thank you both enough!!!

I found this mopping pic on my camera. I know it happened while I was sleeping and it was one of the first things I noticed when I got up! And a side note. My friend's husband saw Mom and Manuel at the T-ball game. He later asked me if I spoke Spanish. I replied, "I thought you knew I was Mexican."

Okay I'm not, but my mom's name is Carla and she's married to a Mexican. If that doesn't influence my ethnicity then I don't know what to tell ya;)

Anyway that makes me so happy. It began with my friend Angie watching my kids while I sat in the car during T-ball practice. Then Justin's parents traveled through to Utah and did a quick load of dishes and made me and the kids an early lunch. Thank you! And yesterday our friends the Garcia's picked up MacKenzie for church just before 11:00am. They didn't bring her back until after 8pm!!! Thank you Garcia's. I know no one else cares, but it makes me feel special and loved.

And totally unrelated... I found this pic of the girls. The girls' facial expressions say it all. Kennedy is temporarily unavailable and MacKenzie is up to no good;)
